SEAN K . DOWNEY

Although born and raised in the Seattle area, Sean Downey has considered Oregon his home for the last 20 years. As a law student at Willamette University, Mr. Downey worked on several law related projects, including the drafting of an appeal for the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and volunteering on a task force to investigate violations of consumer protection laws in cooperation with the Department of Justice.

In 2007, Mr. Downey opened his own law practice just south of the Courthouse Athletic Club on South Commercial. Mr. Downey puts to use his previous education and experience in the hospitality industry, banking industry, and optical industry to operate his general legal practice, emphasizing Business Law, Bankruptcy, Creditor Rights,Taxation, Estate Planning, Mediation, and Collaborative Family Law.

Mr. Downey has been married for 13 years and is the father of three children. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family and in his church responsibilities, and is an avid baseball fan.
